Text Messaging Program
How the FlowState text-messaging program works: who receives messages, why, how customers opt in, and how they stop.

Who operates the program
FlowState is a work-order product for ski and outdoor specialty shops, built and operated by Reiter Solutions LLC, Utah, USA. Contact: hello@findflowstate.app. Messages are sent for participating shops that use FlowState. Each shop’s program is registered with U.S. carriers under that shop’s own legal business name, and Reiter Solutions LLC submits that registration on the shop’s behalf as its software provider. Each shop publishes its own program disclosure, text messaging terms, and privacy policy at its FlowState address (/opt-in, /terms and /privacy).
Who receives messages and why
Customers of a participating shop who have opted in receive service updates and a pickup alert about their own work order, for example, that their skis are ready for pickup. One message contains a link to a private page where the customer can check the status of that work order. A customer who replies receives the reply a member of the shop’s staff sends back, in an ongoing conversation about that work order. Messages are transactional and relate only to that customer’s service request. No marketing or promotional messages are sent under this program.
How a customer opts in
On the shop’s online service-request form, on the final review step before submitting, the customer may check an unchecked, optional box. The wording shown is, with the shop’s name in place of [Shop name]:
“Yes — text me about my gear at [Shop name]. You’ll get service updates and pickup alerts for this work order (a few messages per repair). Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”
Consent is optional and is not a condition of service: a customer who leaves the box unchecked still receives their service. Each shop also publishes this disclosure at its own address, for example https://flowstate-demo-shop.findflowstate.app/opt-in.
A customer can also opt in three other ways. In person at the counter: staff ask whether the customer wants texts, and only if the customer agrees, staff send a single confirmation text from the shop’s number asking the customer to reply YES; no further messages are sent unless the customer replies YES. By QR code: the customer scans a code at the counter that opens a page for their own work order, showing the same consent wording and a single “Yes, text me” button. By email link: the shop emails the customer the same page. In every case, texts start only after the customer’s own confirmation.
The two screenshots below show the flow on the FlowState Demo Shop, operated by Reiter Solutions LLC: the step where the customer enters their mobile number, and the review step where the optional consent box appears above the submit button.

Message frequency and cost
A few messages per repair, typically one to three per work order. Message and data rates may apply according to the customer’s mobile plan. FlowState does not charge customers for messages.
How to stop or get help
Reply STOP to any message to opt out: the customer receives one confirmation and no further messages from that shop. Reply HELP for help, or contact hello@findflowstate.app. Opting out of texts does not affect the customer’s service request.
Privacy
We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Phone numbers are used only to deliver the messages described here. See the Privacy Policy at findflowstate.app/privacy and the Terms of Service at findflowstate.app/terms.
Program status
Text messaging is registered with U.S. carriers (A2P 10DLC) and is live. It is enabled per shop: a shop begins sending once its own number is provisioned and its own carrier registration is approved. Texting is included in a shop’s FlowState subscription at no extra charge.
